Categorization of attachments
Hi there WHAC creator. This app is awesome, and I'm impressed at just how much it can do.
But on another note, I've been bumping into some complications while trying to work with unit attachments and weapon attachments. I was thinking it might be more universal and clearer if those attachments have their own categories like they do in the card library. (i.e. warcasters, warjacks, colossals, battle engines, units, unit attachments, weapon attachments, solos). This way, they'd be easier to sort through while editing data files. And attachments could be linked to only the unit(s) they attach to using the "restricted_to" attribute the way Retribution's Soulless Escort and Eiryss3 do.
This would definitely help if PP decides to do more multi-unit attachments in the future. Since I'm suggesting a lot of work, I volunteer to PERSONALLY adjust ALL the data files if you did it.

Re: Categorization of attachments
Ok. Maybe you could do me a small favour?
unit_attachment is a valid attribute under the solo element. Would you be able to add weapon_attachment as an attribute as well?
I've been testing with unit attachments being listed as independent entries (as solos with the unit_attachment=true) and it seems to be working. I was hoping to play around with something similar for weapon attachments. (I'm trying to fix how Retribution's Soulless Escort works.)

actually, the XML validation is only for help : the program does not complain is the XML has attributes with no (actual) meaning. so you can already add weapon_attachment="true" to solos, but it won't do anything.
i add to add the "unit_attachment" to solo due to ranking officers.. and then discovered about eyriss, the soulless...
definitely i will have to handle this more correctly than now :-/ but this can only be done in code, not just in XML, because it is done in the selection workflow...
for the purpose of your tests, you can consider that "weapon_attachment" will be a valid attribute for solos in next version and that "restricted_to" will be used to select the target unit(s) to attach.
